Behind-the-ear (BTE) hearing aids: These are the most common type of hearing aids and are suitable for people with a mild to severe hearing loss. They sit behind the ear and have a tube that connects to an earbud that fits inside the ear canal.

In-the-ear (ITE) hearing aids: These hearing aids are custom-made to fit the unique shape of your ear canal and are suitable for people with a mild to severe hearing loss.

In-the-canal (ITC) hearing aids: These hearing aids are similar to ITE aids, but are smaller in size and sit deeper in the ear canal. They are suitable for people with a mild to moderate hearing loss.

Completely-in-canal (CIC) hearing aids: These are the smallest type of hearing aids and are almost invisible when worn. They sit deep inside the ear canal and are suitable for people with a mild to moderate hearing loss.

Receiver-in-canal (RIC) hearing aids: These hearing aids are similar to BTE aids, but the speaker that produces the sound is located in the ear canal instead of in the main body of the device.

Note: Before purchasing a hearing aid, it is always recommended to consult a professional audiologist or a speech and hearing clinic to determine the best type of hearing aid for your needs.
