Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (Auditory Habilitationist) to join our team in Guwahati.
This role focuses on auditory habilitation for children using Hearing Aids and Cochlear Implants, using a child- and family-centric approach. The ideal candidate will combine clinical expertise with strong parent coaching and communication skills to empower families in the habilitation process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized auditory habilitation and speech-language therapy plans.

  • Conduct ongoing assessments and maintain detailed documentation of therapy progress and outcomes.

  • Provide parent coaching and counselling to enhance therapy carryover at home.

  • Collaborate with audiologists, ENT specialists, and other professionals for integrated care.

  • Participate in team discussions, training sessions, and interdisciplinary planning meetings.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology, or ASLP from a recognized institution.

  • RCI registration/license required.

  • Prior experience working with children with hearing impairment (Hearing Aids/Cochlear Implants) preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (and local language preferred).

  • Excellent documentation and record-keeping abilities.

  • Compassionate, patient, and skilled in parent coaching and family engagement.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment.
