Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (Auditory Habilitationist) to join our team in Guwahati.
This role focuses on auditory habilitation for children using Hearing Aids and Cochlear Implants, using a child- and family-centric approach. The ideal candidate will combine clinical expertise with strong parent coaching and communication skills to empower families in the habilitation process.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized auditory habilitation and speech-language therapy plans.

Conduct ongoing assessments and maintain detailed documentation of therapy progress and outcomes.

Provide parent coaching and counselling to enhance therapy carryover at home.

Collaborate with audiologists, ENT specialists, and other professionals for integrated care.

Participate in team discussions, training sessions, and interdisciplinary planning meetings.
Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology, or ASLP from a recognized institution.

RCI registration/license required.

Prior experience working with children with hearing impairment (Hearing Aids/Cochlear Implants) preferred.

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (and local language preferred).

Excellent documentation and record-keeping abilities.

Compassionate, patient, and skilled in parent coaching and family engagement.

Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment.
