Job Title: Audiologist – Training & Technical Support – ( OTICON )

Department: Sales & Technical

Location: Pan India (Travel Required)

Job Objective:

To provide comprehensive product training, audiological support, and technical assistance for Interton

hearing aid products across India. The Audiologist will ensure that all partner clinics, dispensers, and internal

teams are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively fit and promote Interton hearing

solutions.

Job Description

– Gather feedback from audiologists and end-users to suggest product and training improvements.

– Analyze trends in audiological needs and recommend localized content for better engagement.

– Support the product management team with competitor benchmarking and feature development ideas.

Internal Team Support

– Train sales teams and new recruits on audiological fundamentals and product positioning.

– Collaborate with regional sales heads for joint customer visits and training roadshows.

– Help with content creation for marketing, including videos, brochures, and online campaigns.

Desired Competencies:

– Customer-centric approach with patience and empathy

– Hands-on with advanced hearing aid technologies

– Team player with the ability to coordinate across functions

– Strong troubleshooting and counseling ability

– Familiarity with regional languages is a plus

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Audiology (BASLP/MASLP)

– Minimum 1-2 years of clinical or industry experience, preferably in hearing aids

– Strong command over fitting software (preferably SmartFit, Noah)

– Excellent communication and presentation skills

– Willingness to travel extensively across India

Key Responsibilities:

Training & Education

– Conduct product training sessions (in-person/online) for new launches, features, and software updates.

– Organize regular refresher courses for partner clinics and dealers across India.

– Deliver audiology-focused sessions covering fitting protocols, counseling techniques, and patient handling.

– Prepare and update training materials, videos, and manuals customized for the Indian market.

Technical Support

– Provide real-time assistance to audiologists and dispensers during fittings and troubleshooting.

– Resolve queries related to Interton’s fitting software ( Genie, Genie 2 ), wireless accessories, and connectivity.

– Coordinate with global support teams for advanced technical escalations.

– Conduct field visits to support new clinic setups or critical customer cases.

Product Demonstrations & Fittings

– Support live product demos and initial fittings at clinics or events.

– Train professionals in earmold selection, BTE/RIC fitting, and custom shell product usage.

– Promote best practices in REMs, speech mapping, and counselling techniques.

Market Feedback & Development

  • Interview: Face-to-face in Bengaluru on 10th or 11th November (for shortlisted candidates)
  • Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹55,000 per month
