💼 Position Overview

Sattvanubhava – Child Therapy & Development Centre is seeking a dedicated Speech & Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary paediatric team. The role focuses on assessment, therapy planning, and intervention for children with speech, language, and communication difficulties, while actively involving parents and collaborating with other professionals.


💰 Salary

₹9,000 – ₹13,000 per month
(Based on qualification and experience)


🎯 Role Purpose

The Speech & Language Therapist will assess and support children with:

  • Speech delay

  • Articulation and phonological errors

  • Stammering / fluency disorders

  • Language comprehension and expression difficulties

  • Autism and ADHD-related communication needs

  • Developmental and social communication delays


🧠 Key Responsibilities

1. Assessment

  • Conduct baseline speech-language evaluations

  • Assess receptive & expressive language skills

  • Evaluate articulation, intelligibility, phonology, and oral-motor skills

  • Prepare structured written assessment reports

Assessment Tools May Include:

  • Developmental speech benchmarks

  • Receptive–expressive checklists

  • Language sample observations


2. Therapy

  • Conduct individual therapy sessions (30–45 minutes)

  • Work on:

    • Speech clarity & articulation

    • Vocabulary and sentence formation

    • Language comprehension

    • Fluency (stammering)

    • Social and functional communication

Therapy Techniques Used:

  • Visual prompts

  • Modelling & repetition

  • Reinforcement strategies

  • Auditory feedback


3. Communication Disorders Handled

  • Speech delay

  • Articulation & phonological disorders

  • Vocabulary delay

  • Stammering / stuttering

  • Autism spectrum communication needs

  • ADHD-related communication gaps

  • Echolalia

  • Low social reciprocity

  • Mild speech motor limitations


4. Parent Interaction

  • Explain therapy goals and progress

  • Provide weekly home-practice plans

  • Demonstrate speech stimulation techniques

  • Maintain ethical and professional boundaries


5. Documentation

  • Daily session notes

  • Monthly progress tracking

  • Goal-specific improvement records

  • Maintain assessment and therapy files


6. Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with:

    • Occupational Therapists

    • Behavioural Therapists

    • Special Educators

Focus Areas:

  • Speech & academic readiness

  • Social play development

  • Communication-behaviour alignment

🎓 Qualifications

Candidates must hold any one of the following:

  • BASLP

  • MASLP

  • B.Sc / M.Sc Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology

🟢 Freshers may apply if confident in handling paediatric cases.
🟢 Internship or paediatric training experience preferred.

  • Monday to Saturday

  • 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM
