About the Role
Sanskara Hearing Solutions is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Audiologist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about improving the quality of life for patients with hearing and balance disorders. You will play a key role in performing diagnostic assessments, fitting hearing aids, and providing counseling and rehabilitation support to individuals across all age groups.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Evaluation & Diagnosis

Perform comprehensive audiological assessments, including pure tone audiometry, speech audiometry, tympanometry, otoacoustic emissions (OAE), and auditory brainstem response (ABR).

Evaluate patients’ hearing and balance function through detailed case histories and examinations.

Diagnose hearing loss or vestibular disorders and recommend suitable management or treatment plans.
Treatment Planning & Hearing Aid Fitting

Recommend and fit appropriate hearing aids, cochlear implants, or assistive listening devices.

Program, adjust, and fine-tune hearing devices to ensure optimal performance.

Educate patients on device care, maintenance, and effective communication strategies.
Counseling & Rehabilitation

Provide aural rehabilitation, tinnitus management, and auditory processing evaluations.

Counsel patients and families on coping strategies for hearing loss and improving communication.

Conduct regular follow-ups to monitor patient satisfaction and device performance.
Documentation & Reporting

Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including test results, diagnoses, and treatment plans.

Prepare reports and communicate findings with referring physicians or ENT specialists.

Ensure compliance with clinic policies and confidentiality standards.
Collaboration & Professional Development

Work collaboratively with ENT doctors, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals.

Stay current with advancements in audiology, digital hearing technology, and rehabilitation techniques.

Participate in outreach programs and awareness camps as needed.
Qualifications
Education:
-
Master’s or Doctorate in Audiology (M.A./M.Sc./Au.D.)
Licensure/Certification:
-
Valid license to practice as an Audiologist (as per regional/state requirements).

Membership or certification with recognized professional bodies (e.g., ISHA, ASHA, or equivalent).
Experience:
-
0–5 years of clinical experience (freshers are welcome to apply).

Hands-on experience in audiological testing and hearing aid fitting preferred.
Skills & Competencies

Expertise in audiological assessment, speech audiometry, and auditory processing evaluation.

Proficiency in using audiology instruments and software.

Excellent communication and counseling skills.

Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach.

Keen attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with pediatric and geriatric audiology cases.

Familiarity with cochlear implants, bone-anchored hearing aids, or tinnitus management.

Additional certifications in vestibular or auditory rehabilitation are a plus.
